Extra page this week... partially due to missed time, and partially because I REALLY wanted to split this page into two, so the original third panel could be a stand-alone page. (And, I didn't want to slow things down further)
I'm a little confused about what the bottom right of this page is depicting. I get the flying sequence of the next few pages, & can tell that this image is when the glider is opening, but I don't understand exactly what I'm seeing.
@Stella: This is the view of the scene as viewed with Sight. Mark frequently and easily switches between his own spell-sight and the sight that was gifted to him by the keepers.
Using his spell-sight, he can see that the casters in the boat put a temporary invisibility veil over him and his glider. He can see his own aura, and can see his movement... he just can't really see the matter itself. All you see of the "glider" are pieces of the illusion attached to it.
The color sight, however, shows both him and the glider. The long-term sight spell attached to him, and the short-term invisibility spell were both cast by the keepers... the color spell is able to recognize the invisibility and ignore it.
I should note that though most of the panels I have been drawing are in color, he is habitually changing much more frequently. It is just easier to follow, and looks better, in my opinion.
Sorry for the confusion.
