The last few pages have been a bit of an experiment, to see how well I can make this process work. So far, I think it is working better than the watercolors... though I have been having some serious anti-aliasing issues that I can't seem to work out.
What do you think about this method? Does it look OK?
In a couple weeks, I am going to be going on a business trip in California. I won't have a scanner available to me, so what sort of extras would you like to see while I'm gone? Any particular topics that you are interested in?
Stuff
@AlmostAware: your new animation is really cool, I think it works well. You get brighter colours but still have the detail from the pencil shading.
As far as extras, any chance we could get a bit more background on some of Mark's past? Like cop reports or the like from some of his kills, or journal entries/reports of his from an op? I understand you're skipping his gradual corruption for the sake of the plot, but it would be interesting to see some more of his back story.
@Stella: I could certainly do that, for a few of them at least. I'm going to be gone for 3 weeks, so I'll want to have a couple more ideas as well. I'm thinking of also doing some sort of "how society is set up according to the people" sort of thing, though I'm not sure the specific topics yet. (The council, obviously, and possibly the people's take on weres) At some point, I'd like to do a "ask the characters" section as well, though the relevant sketches wouldn't be viable for this trip. (Also, would need some questions. ;) )
Hopefully, I will also get a chance to do some drawing, at least, to work towards having a buffer again.
FYI : Late page, sorry about that. Will probably be up mid-day tomorrow. The time-intensive stuff will be done tonight, but I want a clear head before doing the dialogue.
That being said, I think I've figured out the re-sizing issues, so this page will be fixed at the same time.
