Yes. Guns of a sort exist in this setting. They can't make "modern" guns, but they can certainly make pistols and rifles with certain... modifications.

They aren't common, and bullets are extremely expensive, but they do exist. Basically all guns use metal cartridges with a gunpowder equivalent. (Something made a bit more stable and potent via energy magic, since they have a hard time getting the mixtures right enough normally for stable gunpowder.)
